Ecology/sustainability

We care about ecology!
Our mission is to make fun, original clothing made with respect for both people and the planet.
For our textile prints we collaborate with a small Croatian factory which shares our eco friendly beliefs.

Eco-technology
For our fabrics they use large ink-jet printers with biodegradable inks (for cotton and other natural materials). Printing with sublimation is used on larger quantities of synthetic materials. We both strive to work with natural materials that are acquired from local manufacturers by fair trade, since we recognize the importance of good working conditions from the harvesting of the plants for fabrics, all the way to the delivery to your door.

Water-based inks
As firm believers in leaving a place better than we found it, all our prints are made with ecologically friendly water-based dyes and biodegradable inks which are non-hazardous, toxin-free and certified with an OEKO-TEX Eco Passport.

Print on demand/made to order
We print on demand, which means our clothing items and accessories are made to order. That way we are reducing textile waste and the accumulation of products. The fashion industry needs to make big changes to protect the climate from harm, and even though we are only one micro particle, we are striving to protect the environment and our planet.
We know that people are accustomed and always looking for the fastest delivery and the lowest possible prices, but fast fashion isn't doing any good. Behind this is mass production, rarely using organic fibers, using chemicals and toxic textile dyes, polluting the water and air, the expoloitation of cheap labour without adequate rights and safety etc. For ex. polyester, one of the most popuplar fast fashion fabrics is derived from fossil fuels. It contributes to global warming and can shed microfibres that add to increasing the levels of plastic in our oceans when washed. Big companies are stressing enviromental areas such as land clearing, biodiversity, and soil quality.
Clothes being worn a few times and then disposed has become a normal thing. We love the quote “buy less, choose well, make it last”.
Our goal is to always strive for better and more ecological choices.

Materials
Our t-shirts are made from 100% organic cotton, and our hoodies from 85% organic cotton, and 15% recycled polyester. The garments are GOTS, OEKO-TEX and Peta approved.
Each product is made with the greatest attention and meets strict criteria, including softness.

Global Organic Textile Standard
GOTS is known as the world’s leading standard for organic textiles. It defines strict ecological criteria throughout the supply chain of organic textiles and requires compliance with social criteria. The use of organic fibers from organic production, the introduction of adequate wages, the elimination of toxic and environmentally harmful substances, is only a small excerpt from the binding GOTS criteria.
You can be sure that the fabrics marked with the GOTS logo are made with social and environmental responsibility in mind.

OEKO-TEX Standard 100
STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® certificate is one of the world’s best-known labels for textiles tested for harmful substances. It stands for customer confidence and high product safety.
You can be sure that the fabrics marked with the OEKO-TEX logo are made with social and environmental responsibility in mind.

Shipping
Out turnaround time is from 15-20 days, which may seem like a lot when for big fast fashion companies 15 days is the time taken for a garment to go from the design to being sold in stores.
When marked as a gift we ship our orders in a pretty cardboard box, with a colored paper ribbon. This type of packaging is easier to recycle.
If possible always select the option to pick up your item in Antea's art studio. This way we can reduce carbon emission a bit.

*When in nature, visiting wild beaches or hiking, we always try to pick up as much trash as we can. We are inviting you to do the same!
